I had a lot of money saved on the side for my planned trip to New York this summer to see boyfriend graduate and help him move here, but well "had" is the keyword here.

My tuition was a bit more than I expected this semester, and with the price of them darling textbooks I had to dive into my savings to pay it all, plus during school time I only work weekends so my pay is never going to be able to catch up in time for his graduation date. :(

So I'm not going to outright ask you all to "gimme" but if you feel like donating to the cause of Shaz's eternal happiness and help me be less stressed about working in retail I would love you all forever and ever and send out karma points like there's no tomorrow.

OK well that was cheesy but yeah back to all seriousness, I really want to go see him graduate because it's not like this happens all the time, and while he's being nice about me not being able to come he's pretty much heartbroken over all this. (I can't ask him for money, he's saving as much as possible for his move out here)

In the back of my head I kept thinking I'd really break out the sap and the unhappiness and how I'd talk about how I need him and want to be there for him, but it's just conflicting with pride because I feel so weird with having to ask for help in this kind of situation... I just really want to be able to see him again and have fun before all the stress of him moving here has to (inevitably) start.

I set up a paypal button on my side bar, I'm not asking for giant amounts cuz I know everyone is stressing about cash right now, but if you feel like giving that would be awesome and I would find someway of paying you back.

Or if you want, you can buy something from my etsy shop, I'm willing to lower the price on some pieces if you send me a private message to discuss it.

I would really appreciate it, we both would.

I Have A Pet Bee

So I'm being kind of a hippie today, I found a little injured bee on my walk to campus, and decided to keep him as a pet.

I've named him Blaschko (after the human skin phenomenon Blaschko's Lines) because he's all stripey.

Mixed a little sugar water for him and now we're sitting in the library, he's kinda buzzing/sleeping/playing with my hair and I'm here typing, and telling people to stop staring at me, cuz as Kevin pointed out, it's effing rude guise.

...and that's I gots to share right now, unless someone wants to share my homework?

So I had a customer yesterday, that after every sentence I said, he said "thank you, you have given me great service today" and as he was saying this his gaze went from my eyes to my left boob.

Not even the whole rack, just the left one.

And there was nothing on my shirt and no nipple action.

I felt so awkward after.

Like I just wanted to scream at him "AREN'T THEY EVEN!?".

But by the time he went away, my co-worker Bonnie was laughing so hard, she walked away to ladies wear and told the story, and then menswear heard about it, and then the lunchroom and now pretty much the whole store is checking out my bewbs.

Last night I went to brush my teeth, didn't have glasses or contacts in (this is important, I'm so short-sighted hobbits look like GIANTS), didn't notice that I was squeezing ketchup on my brush...

I kid you not.

And no one will fess up as to WTF the ketchup bottle is doing upstairs.

All I can deduce is that it's been there awhile longer than I was home, because it was room temp and not still fridge cold.

I'm really hoping it's either:
A) Grandmam going crazy in ye olde age
OR
B) My brother got lazy in the middle of a more elaborate prank.

And now I fear washing my hair in relish...

I had a dream on the bus today that a cat landed on the bus through the emergency exit, caught on fire and then from the ashes Gary Coleman arose, sat down and started to do the Sudoku in the 24Hours paper.

Only he would just put in the 8s and then toss the paper out the window.

And then someone slammed the window closed so I awoke rather rudely.

I'm afraid to know how the dream ends.
